Ben the Sax Guy (real name: Ben Golder-Novick) is a freelance musician working the Northeast music scene. He goes by many other aliases such as Benito Suave, Benissimo, and Ben Charles (to name a few). He is an extremely talented musician working the Northeast music scene and plays more styles of music than he has nicknames. Among Ben's arsenal of weapons (weapons of love, that is) include the alto, tenor, and soprano saxophones, flute, clarinet, bass, piano, and occasional vocals. Ben has no limits when it comes to talent, genre, and musical venue. He performs in nightclubs, weddings, festivals, private parties, plays, movies, the list goes on and on. Ben has even gone so far as to play background music for video games in people's houses while they were playing video games in real time. 

Ben has performed with many notable musical stalwarts such as Jay Geils, The Rebirth Brass Band, Steve Davis, members of Soulive, The New Black Eagles Jazz Band, and Melvin Sparks. Ben has also opened up for TV on the Radio, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, and Ike Willis (from Frank Zappa's band).  


Ben is currently performing with a myriad of musical acts such as Pandemonium, Shake That, Brass Attack, Marc Sincavage Band, Travis Winkley, The Clubs, The Langley Project, OPM, Rhythmic Circus, Scott Bradlee Nintendo Tribute Orchestra, Colin Baker and the Roots Reggae Renegades, Dan Salizar and the Gypsy Gangstas, and many more exciting musical adventurists.
